Bible Passage: Philippians 4:19
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Bible Story — Elijah and the Widow:
During a time of famine, God sent Elijah to a widow who had very little food. She had only a little flour and oil left. Yet she obeyed God's word and shared what she had.
God provided for the woman and her son. Her flour and oil did not run out during the famine.
God knows what our family needs. We should work hard and be responsible, but we can also trust God as our Provider.
Prayer:
“Father, thank You for taking care of our family. Help us to trust You and be thankful for everything You provide. Amen.”

Bibelhistorien – Elia og enken:
Det var hungersnød i landet, og Gud sendte profeten Elia til en enke som hadde svært lite mat igjen. Hun hadde bare litt mel og olje. Likevel valgte hun å adlyde Gud og dele det hun hadde.
Gud sørget for kvinnen og sønnen hennes. Melet og oljen tok ikke slutt under hungersnøden.
Gud vet hva familien vår trenger. Vi skal arbeide hardt og være ansvarlige, men vi kan også stole på Gud som vår forsørger.
Bønn:
«Far, takk for at Du tar vare på familien vår. Hjelp oss å stole på Deg og være takknemlige for alt Du gir oss. Amen.»
