Reflection (English):
At Sinai, God called Israel into covenant relationship, giving them His commands and showing them how to live as His people. In Matthew, Jesus willingly endured betrayal, rejection and the cross. The holiness of God and the sacrifice of Christ remind us of the seriousness of sin and the greatness of grace. We do not approach God because we are perfect; we approach Him because Christ made a way. Let His sacrifice shape the way you live today.
Refleksjon (Norsk):
Ved Sinai kalte Gud Israel inn i et paktsforhold og ga dem Sine bud for å vise dem hvordan de skulle leve som Hans folk. I Matteus ser vi Jesus frivillig gå gjennom svik, avvisning og korset. Guds hellighet og Kristi offer minner oss om syndens alvor og nådens storhet. Vi kommer ikke til Gud fordi vi er perfekte; vi kommer fordi Kristus har åpnet veien. La Hans offer forme måten du lever på i dag.
Prayer / Bønn:
Jesus, thank You for making a way for me to come boldly into God's presence. Help me live a life worthy of Your sacrifice.
Jesus, takk for at Du har åpnet veien for meg til å komme frimodig inn i Guds nærhet. Hjelp meg å leve et liv som er verdig Ditt offer.
